dr. B was introduced to music by chance when a musician from the block named Kevin, took interest in him. Kevin showed dr. B how to play a few chords. From there dr. B studied classical piano at a Conservatory. Later. he studied voice for several years at Settlement Music School.
Now, dr. B performs and writes as a solo act. His focus is on internet-based performances. He also participates in live community based events to raise money for schools in the Philadelphia area. Stay tuned for his participation in the next community event scheduled for March 2025.
dr. B received a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Business from Temple University, where he performed one of his first compositions to rave reviews. His early start in music was as a choir director and musician-singer performing at various churches in the Philadelphia, PA area with his wife and five sisters.
He continued his formal education with a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. He followed this up with a doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Pennsylvania.
